Share it all.
If you have written for or been featured on another media outlet, let your audience know. Tell us when it comes out, what it’s about and where to find it, then share it on all your social channels—Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and even on IG stories.
Publish a teaser.
Share a short paragraph or a couple sentences of the article, then tell us where we can find the rest of the article and provide the link. You want to make it as easy as possible for your audience to read the content.
Create a quote by taking a sentence or two and making a post. Quote posts are very popular and you can create your own by overlaying text onto an image. In your caption expand a little on the quote and end by leading your audience to the article.
Okay, video might not by your thing but if you are thinking of dabbling in video content, there is no better way to start than by sharing your article. You don’t need a fancy recording studio—if you are comfortable with taking video on your phone, do it! Post your video on Facebook, Instagram and of course YouTube.. Speak as if you are talking with a friend and don’t rush. Even a two minute video can be effective and garner a lot of engagement.
Get that extra mile out of your content by re-posting it every year or so. Some would even repost bi-annually or more frequently. You can change the picture or switch up the captions on an old post to breathe some new life into it.
