Last week I took a tip from Hustle & Sparkle, a community for female entrepreneurs, to spend a few minutes on a Sunday night to write down your goals for the week ahead. I did that just (on a scrap envelope) and jotted down 3 goals I wanted to achieve. 2 were business goals and the other was a fitness one.
I have a list of things I need to do with OLILIBABY and more specifically how to market Kiddie Clips, blanket stroller clips. The list is actually very long and daunting. Before doing this exercise of Sunday goal-setting, I found that on Monday mornings I would stare at this list and not know where to start. I was doing bits-and-pieces of tasks but not completing many.
But taking a look at that list and using it to write down my goals for the week made me more focused. In a way it put me on ‘auto-pilot’ mode/ no-excuses and just get it done. Come Monday morning I was ready to buckle down and work and oddly it eliminated that ‘Moody Monday’ feelings.
